Jewellery Organizer {DIY}

Emerald Green Jewellery Organizer {DIY}

I made a jewellery organizer for my sister and it may or may not have taken me eight months. One of those projects that for whatever reason do not get finished in good time. Sorry Jess!

I found the picture frame last spring at a yard sale.  It was painted Emerald Green and then I stapled galvanized wire mesh onto the back of the frame.

Supplies:

  • Frame
  • Krylon Emerald Green spray paint
  • Galvanized Wire Mesh (chicken wire)
  • Craft Wire/hooks to hang necklaces or bracelets onto the frame
  • Staple Gun

Steps:

  1. Prime and paint the frame
  2. Cut wire mesh to size (use safety goggles – no one wants wire in their eye)
  3. Staple wire mesh to the back of the frame
  4. Shape craft wire into small looks to use as hangers for your jewellery
  5. Hang on the wall
  6. Enjoy!

The best part of this whole project is that Emerald Green just happens to be THE colour of the year.

PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR 2013 - Emerald 17-5641

Have a good day.
