Our lives are like quilts – bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love.

Our lives are like quilts – bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love.

We were lucky enough to be the recipients of three baby quilts made by my mother-in-law for each of our three children.

Each quilt was given shortly after their birth (to ensure their full names were stitched on the back side of the quilt).

Isaac’s Quilt:

The backside of each quilt has a coordinating fabric:

Maxwell’s Quilt:

Emma’s Quilt:

These are blankets that I have not tucked away in a closet but ones that have been WELL-USED in each of their cribs and now older son’s bed.  This means spills and all but they are used and loved.

Thank you to a lovely Nana for thinking of our boys and girl :).

My mother in law has recently started selling them privately through an Etsy shop online. If you are interested in having a quilt made or ordering from her current “stock”. Please feel free to email me for her contact information or check out her Etsy shop online (here).

Thanks!

Sarah
