Sunburst Mirror – DIY

A simple take on sunburst mirror using a mirror from Dollarama and a package of kitchen skewers that were sitting in our pantry.

As I stated in my Gallery Wall post (here) I had to create an affordable gallery wall.  It involved a little collecting over time and a few quick coats of spray paint but I am pleased to no longer have to look at a blank wall!

Supplies:

Mirror $1 (3 mirrors for $2)

Skewers $0

Glue Gun and Glue $0

The most time-consuming task was cutting the skewers into different lengths.  It was also slightly dangerous due to the flying wood skewers that would *snap* off once I cut them! …nearly taking out my eye on a couple of occasions! YIKES! Safety glasses next time 🙂

Thanks for visiting.
